5 Things You Need to Know Today: April 18

1. After the storms and tornado warnings this past weekend, the National Weather Service forecasts sunny weather with a Hi of 71 degrees. Tonight, mother nature drops to about 54 degrees with partly cloudy skies.

2. If you’re looking for things to do, Silver Spring is always packed with so many fun event that is sure to have you thinking or dancing with plain ole' fun. Babe's Sport Bar and Grill has an open mic with poetry tonight. So you bring out your cool daddy o' hat and make like the wind. 

3. Coming up in Silver Spring Patch, we launch Meet the Pooch. This is a great way for you to know who the neighborhood dogs are or get your dog featured!
