Good Morning! What five things do you need to know to stay up-to-date about what’s going on in the community? Patch has you covered this Wednesday:

1. If you're commuting on foot, be sure to take an umbrella. The weather may get really nasty during your commute home with thunderstorms after 3 p.m. Otherwise, the skies should be mostly sunny today, with temperatures climbing to the high 90s. Later on this evening, the skies should clear up and the temperatures may become more comfortable and drop to the mid 60s. 

2. Get ready to celebrate Bastille Day on Thursday by planning a trip to ZPizza. The downtown eatery will bring a little of those flavors to Silver Spring with free samples of its Provence pizza.

3.
