Divorced Couple Dead In Murder-Suicide, Police Say

The chief medical examiner has ruled the deaths of a divorced couple at their Silver Spring home​ a murder-suicide.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Authorities have ruled the deaths of a divorced couple at their Silver Spring home a murder-suicide.

Donna Lewis, 70, and Arnold Ringgold, 71, were found fatally shot inside the home on Three Oaks Drive Thursday morning, according to Montgomery County police. Officers were called to the residence around 9:13 a.m., after a family member discovered their bodies.

Police said the two were divorced, but living together again.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore has ruled Lewis' death a homicide. Ringgold's death was ruled a suicide.

No other information has been released by officials.
