Man Missing From Burtonsville Who Suffers Dementia Found Safe

(Updated Thursday morning): BURTONSVILLE, MD — William Benjamin Miller has been located safe and unharmed, police said. The Silver Alert for Mr. Miller has been canceled.

Maryland State Police issued a Silver Alert for a missing 83-year-old man who suffers from dementia.

William Benjamin Miller was last seen at about 1 p.m. Wednesday. He was at his house in the 2800 block of Cabin Creek Dr., police said.

Detectives believe Miller is driving a blue Toyota Prius with Maryland tag 7BK0505.

Miller is described by police as a black male, 5’10” and weighs 215 pounds. He is bald and has brown eyes. It is not known what he may be wearing, police said.

Anyone with information about Mr. Miller’s whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency number, 301-279-8000 (available 24/7).
