SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County is offering free walk-in and drive-thru coronavirus testing at a number of sites this week.

No doctor's order is required and no appointments are needed. County officials ask that symptomatic residents call the Testing Helpline at 240-777-1755 for assistance. Find more information on eligibility here.

The self-administered nasal swab tests provided at county-run testing clinics are from CIAN Diagnostic Laboratories in Frederick.
