1. JAZZ WITH FLO ANITO ON THE PLAZA
Where/When: One Veterans Plaza in Silver Spring (across from Majestic movie theater) on Friday, July 22, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Why go: Sit down and relax to live music from Flo Anito! She will be performing songs from her new album "No Dustbunnies" and her crowd favorite "Uh-Oh."

2. JAZZ AT COPPER CANYON GRILL
Where/When: Stop by the restaurant on Friday, July 22 and Saturday, July 23 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m to feel the groove at Copper Canyon Grill located on 928 Ellsworth Drive.
Why go: To enjoy a three-piece band while you socialize and dine-in.
Pricing: The performance is free .
3. AFI SILVER BABIES MOVIE SCREENING
Where/When: Take your baby to the AFI located at 8633 Colesville Rd., near the intersection of Colesville Road and Georgia Avenue on Friday, July 22.
Why go: Take a morning aside to enjoy a movie with other local moms, dads or babysitters! The theater will be showing Little Women (starts at 10:10 a.m.) or Midnight in Paris (starts at 10:45 a.m.). Free stroller parking is always a plus!
Pricing: $8.50 per adult and babies are free.
Where/When: Fenwick Beer and Wine located 1327 Fenwick Ln. on Friday, July 22, 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Why go: Get your weekend started with the taste of unique wine or beer!

5. FARMER'S MARKET ON ELLSWORTH DRIVE
Where/When: The market is located between Georgia Avenue and Ellsworth Drive in Silver Spring from 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m on Saturday, July 23.
Why Go: This week Boordy Vineyards is paying Silver Spring a visit with their chardonnay, pinot grigio, petit cabernet, chilled apple and jazzberry wines grown in Hydes, Maryland. There will also be live music from Tiffany Thompson and the Highland Lassies.
New to the market: Evensong Farm will have orange mint, Sligo Creek Farm will have malabar spinach and tomatillos, Groff's Content will have chicken and much more.
Pricing: Free to attend.
