Guide to Graduation: Northwood High School

The Northwood High School class of 2011 celebrates the afternoon June 10th. Check out our Patch guide to the graduation ceremony!

• The graduation ceremony starts at 2:30 p.m. at DAR Constitutional Hall., 1776 D St. N.W.
• The featured speaker is Ms. Ruschelle Reuben, the Principal Intern of Paint Branch High School.
• If you're driving down, metered parking is available around DAR. Constitution Hall also suggests a few parking garages. If you decide to take the Metro, it's a 10 to 15 minute walk from the Orange and Blue lines from Farragut West metro stop or the Red line stop from Farragut North. Map your trip with WMATA.
• Handicapped patrons can will have a usher or  security staff member stationed at the D Street entrance for the convenience of all patrons with disabilities who arrive by vehicle or use the driveway to avoid the front steps. If handicapped seating is required for parents/guests, contact Ms. Ann Haughton at 301-649-8270.  Wheelchairs won't be permitted in the aisles and  guide dogs will be permitted to accompany the owner.
