Patch: Tell us a bit about your business or organization:
Dulce Flores: The Leggett at Elizabeth Square is an apartment building located in Silver Spring's newest neighborhood, Elizabeth Square. The Leggett is a 62+ community that has a new aquatic center and Holy Cross Health Partners on its doorstep.

Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?
Dulce Flores: Through Habitat America, I have been a manager at The Leggett since 2023.

Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?
Dulce Flores: I have experience managing multifamily communities. Through my time serving these communities, I discovered my passion for senior communities. I love serving the senior population and seeing how they thrive and share their talents and time with other seniors creating a sense of community.

Patch: What's the most common piece of advice you give to customers?
Dulce Flores: Come out of your apartment and get involved in as many activities that you can. Participating in activities, being social, and getting outside is great for your health. No matter your circumstances, age, or disabilities, there is always something you can participate in.

Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Dulce Flores: I get to meet very interesting people and I learn from each of them.

Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?
Dulce Flores: We are not just rental apartments; we are a lifestyle. The Leggett’s proximity to downtown Silver Spring, a new recreation center, and healthcare facilities, is unparalleled.
