They will need to adjust the “temperatures of the new refrigerators and add two stainless steel tables” among other small adjustments, Gioldasis said.
Pacci's Trattoria and Pasticceria will open in the same location as The General Store——after a dispute with the owner of the property, Spiro Gioldasis, for funds that were owed to the county to keep their store open.

Instead of leasing the property out to another restaurant, Gioldasis said it would be best if he opened up one himself. Citing the difficulty of finding businesses to pay rent in a faltering economy, Gioldasis said, “I own the building and it was something I had to do.”
As the general manager at Mrs. K’s Toll House and owner of Pacci's Neapolitan Pizzeria in downtown Silver Spring, Gioldasis said that the success of his current restaurant gave him the courage to open a new one.
The new restaurant will feature Italian dishes such as Insalata di Tonno and homemade meatballs that they are offering for a discounted rate at the pizzeria located on 8113 Georgia Ave.
