Updated: Police Find Missing Silver Spring Girl

Charisma Greene, 13, was missing for about a week and a half.

Update, June 28: Greene was found unharmed.

Original story, June 22: Montgomery County police are trying to locate a teen who went missing from her Silver Spring home last week, according to an official release. She was last seen around the 9000 block of McAlpine Road around 4:30 p.m. June 16.

Charisma Greene, 13, is described as an African American girl who stands about 5 and half feet tall with brown eyes and brown medium-length hair. Greene also has a facial mole under her right eye and under her left cheek. She may be wearing a peach blouse, tan shorts, silver sandals and carrying a pink and gray messenger bag. Police and family are concerned for her welfare because of her age.

Police officials urges anyone who has information regarding Charisma Greene to immediately contact the Family Crimes Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.  Callers may remain anonymous.
