[UPDATE]: Police Seek Two Suspects In Thursday Night Shooting

Montgomery County Police are searching for two male suspects after a shooting Thursday evening in Silver Spring left a man in critical condition, police told Patch.

Police said the incident was not random and that there is no danger to the community.

Just before 7 p.m., police got a call about a man who was shot in the 9500 block of Clement Road, Natasha Plotnikov, a Montgomery County Police spokeswoman, told Patch.

The man suffered a single gunshot wound to his body and was taken to the hospital in serious condition, police said.

The men knocked on his door and shot him, police said. His son was also home at the time of the shooting, police said.

No further description of the suspects was provided.
