Montgomery County police said the shooting happened at Dick's Sporting Goods in Wheaton.

WHEATON, MD — A Silver Spring man is facing charges after authorities said he shot into a Montgomery County sporting goods store after he was suspected of shoplifting.
Damonne Antonio Shayne Martin, 23, was charged with first-degree assault, reckless endangerment and multiple firearm-related counts following the April 7 incident, Montgomery County police said in a release.
