Suspect Wanted In Silver Spring Bank Robbery: Police
Police are searching for a suspect wanted for robbing the M&T Bank on Georgia Avenue. Do you recognize this man?

SILVER SPRING, MD — Police have released a surveillance photo of a suspect wanted for robbing the M&T Bank on Georgia Avenue in May in hopes that the public can help identify him.
Officers responded to a call reporting a robbery at the M&T Bank at 12041 Georgia Ave. at about 11:18 a.m. May 8. Investigation revealed the suspect entered the bank and handed a note to the teller demanding money. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled from the bank, police said. He was last seen on foot running northbound on Georgia Avenue.
Anyone with information about the suspect or this bank robbery is asked to contact police at 240-773-5100. To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to the arrest and/or indictment of this suspect. Tipsters will remain anonymous.
