SILVER SPRING, MD — A 16-year-old Silver Spring boy has been charged as an adult in connection with a shooting in the White Oak area.

Justice Elliott is accused of shooting two men, ages 82 and 20, near Montgomery White Oak Apartments on Thursday afternoon. Montgomery County police said the shooting was not a random act, and that the victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

An investigation by detectives determined that the 20-year-old victim, who Elliott knew, was walking on Stewart Lane with friends when he was approached by the suspect and another unknown man.
