Trick-Or-Treat With A Purpose In Silver Spring This Halloween
Attendees are asked to bring a canned good or $1 to enjoy music, games, candy and prizes at the Trunk Or Treat Canned Food Drive.
SILVER SPRING, MD — Trick-or-treat with a purpose by supporting the hungry at the "Trunk Or Treat Canned Food Drive" at Veteran's Plaza this Halloween.
The students of the Leaders Institute invite residents to this family-fun event from 6:30-9 p.m. Tuesday. Attendees are asked to bring a canned good or $1 to enjoy music, games, candy and prizes.
The food and money will be donated to hungry children and families in Montgomery County. Leaders Institute students have a fundraising goal to provide 1,000 pounds of food to the needy for the Thanksgiving season.
