Truck Slams Into Silver Spring Apartment Building: Police

SILVER SPRING, MD — A pickup truck drove through a fence, went down an embankment and crashed into a Silver Spring apartment building Thursday evening, officials said.

The incident happened at about 6:45 p.m. in the 1000 block of Quebec Terrace, Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service Pete Piringer said.

The truck ran into the Oak Leaf Apartments and a resident was struck by debris from the impact, Piringer said. The resident has non-life-threatening injuries.
