Unidentified White Powder Sends School Employees To Hospital
Five employees went to the hospital after they were exposed to an unidentified white powder found on a student at John F. Kennedy High.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Five employees were taken to the hospital after they were exposed to an unidentified white powder found inside of a student's backpack at John F. Kennedy High School Tuesday, according to reports.
School employees searched the teen in a conference room and found the powder inside a plastic bag in the student's backpack, NBC Washington reports.
The staff members who were exposed to the substance started to feel sick and were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

"Right now we're hearing about dizziness, a bit of discomfort," Montgomery County Public Schools spokesman Derek Turner told NBC Washington. "We're waiting to hear more details."
