ARLINGTON, MA — The town is slated to receive an increase of MBTA bus service with the return of a former bus route, according to a report from YourArlington.

Route 76 is making its return after previously being combined into Route 62. It will now be in operation every 30 minutes from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. as well as 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. from the Alewife Red Line station on weekdays. The biggest change the return of the bus service brings is that it will now be available on Sundays for the first time ever.

These new developments are slated to go into effect on Sunday, Aug. 24.
