Arlington Names New Treasurer/Collector
Lynn Gallagher began working in her new role at the end of October.

ARLINGTON, MA — The town has named resident Lynn Gallagher as its newest Treasurer/Collector.
Gallagher was appointed by Town Manager Jim Feeney, and her responsibilities now include overseeing all of Arlington’s funds, investments, tax and revenue collection, and borrowing. This new position is a direct promotion for Gallagher, as she previously served as Deputy Treasurer/Collector. Feeney testified that Gallagher cares highly about the town and its financial success, and that she is well-equipped to be a leader in this new role.
"Lynn (Gallagher) is a great choice for this role," Deputy Town Manager/Finance Director Julie Wayman said. "Her enthusiasm, attention to detail, and dedication have made her indispensable in the Treasurer's Office."
