Fatal Crash: Arlington Police Investigating
The incident took place between a motorcycle and a car.

ARLINGTON, MA — The police department announced it is investigating a fatal crash that took place on Sunday, Oct. 5.
Resident Martin Mitchell, 65, was pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital when he was involved in a two-vehicle crash that took place on the corner of Washington and Summer Street. Mitchell was on a motorcycle. The driver of the other vehicle was also taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries but has since been released. According to police, she is an 18-year-old Saugus resident and is cooperating with the police.
The department is working with the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office to conduct the investigation.
