Bear Spotted At Lexington Farm After Causing School Delays
Just after 2 p.m., Arlington Police said the bear was spotted at Wilson's Farm in Lexington.
ARLINGTON, MA – A bear that caused Arlington public schools to put in place a one-hour delay has been spotted in Lexington, Arlington Police said.
The bear was spotted just after 2 p.m. at Wilson's Farm in Lexington.
The bear was first spotted around 6 a.m. in the area of Scituate Street at Spring Street, police said over Twitter.

About an hour later, just before 7 a.m., police said the bear was last reported in the area of Paul Revere Road and Park Avenue.
Arlington Superintendent Elizabeth Honan put in place a one-hour delay due to the sightings.Elementary school students arrived at school for a 9 a.m. start, with high school students having resumed at 9:30 a.m.

"Our kids are all back in school and we're out and about," Arlington Police Captain Richard Flynn said. "Those animals can cover a great distance in a short period of time."
