Minuteman Bikeway Under Construction At Arlington High School
The work is taking place throughout this week as part of the larger school project.

ARLINGTON, MA — The city announced that construction is currently ongoing on the Minuteman Bikeway as part of the Arlington High School Building Project.
The work will be taking place through Friday, Dec. 13 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. The width of the bikeway has been reduced to one lane while the work is underway. The bikeway is located adjacent to W.A. Peirce football stadium.
The AHS Building Project is a four-phase operation that began in the fall of 2020. It includes sweeping upgrades to the school building itself as well as its surrounding athletic fields and other amenities. Phase 3 is slated to last until February 2025. The final phase is scheduled to be completed by next September. The project is primarily funded through the Massachusetts School Building Authority.
