Spring Street Sweeping Has Begun In Arlington
The majority of the sweeping will take place during business hours.
ARLINGTON, MA — The town announced that town-wide street sweeping for the spring season began on Monday.
Sweeping takes place weekdays between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. The entire sweeping process is expected to take up to eight weeks. The town advises residents to avoid parking on the street as much as possible throughout the process. In addition, they are encouraged to keep trash and recycling bins on the curb and off the street.
Certain popular roads will be swept overnight as well on a weekly basis. Town routes are usually swept in order, but certain routes may be skipped due to variables like weather.
