β’ Beverly 400+ To Host Winter Wonderland Celebration To Kick Off Year Of Events (patch.com) β Beverly is gearing up for its 400th anniversary with a Winter Wonderland and Family Festival at Lynch Park and a free community conversation at The Cabot Theater. Residents can look forward to movie screenings featuring Beverly, trivia night, a public golf tournament, a citywide scavenger hunt, and a Legacy Project at Independence Park that will create a lasting arts and history space.

β’ Beverly MLK Jr. Day Breakfast Event Set For Middle School (patch.com) β Beverly residents are invited to a free Martin Luther King Jr. Day breakfast at Beverly Middle School on Jan. 19, marking the cityβs 40th annual celebration. Hosted by local schools, city groups and advocates, the program will explore social justice, equity and unity under the theme βI Have a Dream: Where Do We Go From Here?β with accessible seating available.

β’ Joan Burke obituary (thelocalnews.news) β The community is remembering Joan M. Burke, who was born in Beverly in 1940 and later became a respected banking professional and active community member on the North Shore. She is fondly recalled for her faith, love of family, and zest for travel and horses. A memorial service will be held Jan. 17 in Rowley, with burial to follow there.
