1 Dead, 2 Injured In Brockton Shooting

BROCKTON, MA — One person is dead and two others are injured after a shooting near the corner of Tremont and Fulton streets in Brockton early Monday morning, the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office said in a statement shared on Twitter Wednesday morning.

The 911 call came in at 1:48 a.m. Monday, officials said.

WCVB reported that the victim who died is a man and the two injured are women.

The shooting is still under investigation, but Plymouth County District Attorney Timony Cruz said in a tweet that "this does not appear to be a random act of violence."
