Man Shot At Ocean State Job Lot After Pulling Knife During Dispute With Worker: Police

The retailer closed for the day after the incident, with plans to reopen Monday morning.

BROCKTON, MA — A man was shot Sunday after he pulled a knife during a dispute with an employee at the Ocean State Job Lot in Brockton, according to police.

The shooting occurred around noon at the store in the 100 block of Campanelli Industrial Drive, police said. The man who pulled the knife suffered injuries that were not life-threatening and was taken to a hospital, according to police.

"Investigators have identified the gunman and are in the process of locating him," police said. "There appears to be no danger to the public at this time."
