17-Year-Old Arrested In Connection To Fatal Brockton Shooting: DA

The teenager will be arraigned on murder charges Wednesday in Brockton District Court.

BROCKTON, MA — A 17-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday night in connection to a shooting that left a man dead earlier this month in Brockton, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz said.

The District Attorney's Office said the teenager was charged in connection to the Feb. 10 murder of Fabio Andrade-Monteiro. Police found Andrade-Monteiro in a car around 11:15 p.m. after he was shot in the driveway of 102 Ash Street, the DA's office said.

Andrade-Monteiro was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center, where he later died.

How police came to find the teenager as a suspect and further information leading to his arrest was not immediately released.

The 17-year-old is scheduled to be arraigned on a murder charge Wednesday morning in Brockton District Court, the DA's office said.
