Brockton To Celebrate City Hall's 125th Birthday
Music, a creative cake and a special appearance by an architect are in store for the upcoming celebration of Brockton City Hall's birthday.
BROCKTON, MA — Community members are invited to celebrate the City Hall's 125th birthday on Wednesday. The celebration, featuring music and children's activities, will take place from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, located at 45 School St.
The event will start with a warm welcome by Mayor Moises M. Rodrigues, followed by music performances by the Brockton Council on Aging Swinging Singers and the Cardinal Spellman High School Choir.
Architect Wesley Lyng Minor will make a special appearance as he reads his story to the children of Brockton. And after a sing-along rendition of "Happy Birthday" by saxophonist Sean Henningson, guests will enjoy a creative cake made by Montilio's of Brockton.

The event is hosted by Rodrigues. The activities are geared toward children in kindergarten through fifth grade, and those who are young at heart.
