Brockton Driver Crashes Into Police SUV, Sends Officer To Hospital
A 57-year-old man will be cited for failing to stop at a light before crashing his truck into a police SUV in Brockton.
BROCKTON, MA — Three people, including a patrol officer, were injured Monday night when police say a man ran a stoplight in Brockton and crashed his truck into a police SUV.
Brockton police say the officer was responding to a call around 8:30 p.m. when the crash happened at Montello and Lawrence Streets.
According to police, the cruiser's emergency lights were flashing and a siren was on at the time it was struck.

The officer was taken to Brockton Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Both the truck driver and his 66-year-old passenger were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with minor injuries.
Police say the 57-year-old man driving the truck will be cited for failing to stop.
