Brockton Man Arrested In Connection With 2022 Boston Killing
Authorities arrested Adornous Hazelwood, 21, Thursday in connection with the September killing of Hanser Abraham Moreta-Gonzalez.

BROCKTON, MA — A Brockton man was arrested Thursday evening in connection with the September killing of Hanser Abraham Moreta-Gonzalez in Boston, the Boston Police Department said in a news release Friday morning.
Authorities arrested Adornous Hazelwood, 21, on Otis Street on an outstanding warrant in connection with the killing, which occurred on Shawmut Avenue in Boston on Sept. 29, Boston police said.
Police said the arrest came as a result of a coordinated investigation between the Boston Police Homicide Unit and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, which resulted in warrants being issued on multiple charges including murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and armed robbery.

Hazelwood is expected to be arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court.
On the evening of Sept. 29, police found Moreta-Gonzalez suffering from a gunshot wound before he died at the hospital.
