Brockton Man Charged In Fatal Shooting Of 22-Year-Old Woman
The woman, Stephanie Beatty of Norwich, Connecticut, was found dead inside a parked car with a gunshot wound, officials said.
BROCKTON, MA — A 22-year-old woman is dead and a Brockton man charged in her death following an overnight shooting in town, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney.
The shooting was reported around 12:22 a.m. Friday, when Brockton Police said they received a 911 call for a report of a shooting on Nason Street.
The woman, Stephanie Beatty of Norwich, was found dead inside a parked car with a gunshot wound, officials said.

Investigators have charged Brockton's Gelson Fernandez, 29, in connection with Beatty's death. As of Friday, he remained at large.
Beatty and Fernandez knew each other, according to officials.
