Brockton Man Held Without Bail In Connection To Recent Robberies
Melvin Arias-Brown, 22, was arrested and held without bail after police seized three loaded guns and linked him to a string of burglaries.

BROCKTON, MA — A man was caught by Brockton police after they claim he broke into several homes, stealing cash, guns, jewelry, and replicas of New England Patriots rings.
Melvin Arias-Brown, 22, was arrested in Fall River with a loaded gun on his person after police linked him to multiple burglaries in March and April.
An investigation led police to execute a search warrant in Arias-Brown's home in Brockton. Police say when they searched the home, they found three stolen loaded guns and ammunition, which were improperly stored and accessible to children in the house.

Arias-Brown's mother and stepfather were charged with child endangerment and weapons offenses. Detectives were able to recover several pieces of jewelry at his home and a pawn shop where they say he sold some of the items.
According to the Brockton Police Department, the stolen pieces are worth "tens of thousands of dollars."
