Brockton Woman Shot In The Chest, 3 People To Face Charges: Reports

BROCKTON, MA — Three people will face charges after a woman was shot outside a Brockton home overnight Sunday, according to multiple reports.

The shooting occurred at 1:42 a.m. on Falconer Avenue near Ash Street, where the woman was shot in the chest, according to NECN.

WCVB reported that the woman is from Fall River. Neither outlet had an update on her condition Monday.

Jonathan Alves, 27, of Brockton is due in court Monday to face charges of assault to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, NECN reported.

Two other people — Naldo Barbosa, 26, and Aylson Correia Castro — are facing charges of unlawful possession of ammunition in connection with the case. Castro is facing an additional weapons charge, according to NECN.
