One Dead, Suspect At Large In Brockton Shooting

Police released the identity of the 26-year-old Brockton man who was pronounced dead at the scene.

BROCKTON, MA — Police are looking for a suspect in a fatal, Friday night shooting in Brockton. Police were called to the area of 10 Shaw Road around 9 p.m. and found Marshawn A. Potts, 26, of Brockton, with multiple gunshot wounds. Potts was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney's office.

No arrests have been made. There are reports that police are looking for a gray Chrysler Pacificathat may have been involved in the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call Brockton police at 508-897-5234.
