Brookline Town Meeting Night 6:
Brookline Town Meeting is set to come to a close Thursday night. There are seven more items on the agenda.

BROOKLINE, MA — For the first time in recent memory a fall Special Town Meeting has lasted longer than four nights. Officials say fall Town Meeting, held in November, usually lasts one or two nights and the occasional three. This meeting began in November before the Thanksgiving holiday adjourned and then picked back up in December. During the sixth night of discussion and voting Thursday night, Town Meeting members kicked off with a discussion on racism in town, followed by economic unbalances.
The town passed a proposal to update bylaws to be gender neutral and inclusive.
