Oscar-nominated Actor Coming To Brookline As Next Recipient of Prestigious Award: Report
The Coolidge Award has been given to many famous actors and directors by the theatre.
BROOKLINE, MA — Hollywood star Ethan Hawke is scheduled to come to town next month to receive a special honor, according to a report from Fun 107.
The four-time Oscar nominee will be at the Coolidge Corner Theatre at 290 Harvard St. on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
Hawke will be presented the Coolidge Award by the nonprofit theatre, which "recognizes a selected film artist whose work represents original and outstanding contributions to cinema." Hawke has a resume of top-notch acting, writing, and directing in film and television that spans more than 30 years. Prior to receiving the award, Hawke will take part in a question and answer session with audience members viewing his new film Blue Moon at the theatre’s Art Deco Moviehouse.
