BROOKLINE, MA — The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office has dropped charges against a man regarding a 2023 home invasion incident, according to a report from Brookline News.

Corey Buchannan, 33, was arrested on charges of home invasion, armed robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and illegally carrying and discharging a firearm after he and other members of the Lowell-based gang known as the Brown Mafia reportedly broke into a home on Warren Street and stole more than $700,000 worth of jewelry.

The prosecution entered a decision of Nolle prosequi, which means charges can still be refiled in the future.
