1. The town’s trio of public beaches will be open today from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Beach tags are required to use the beach. They can be purchased on site at Lake Waushakum, Saxonville Beach, and Learneds Pond.

5. Middlesex Sheriff Peter Koutoujian will join the cast of All Politics is Local to record a live broadcast on the subject of the heroin and opiate problems effecting the MetroWest area. The Sheriff will update the public on the impacts on the community and how his office is fighting this growing problem.

The public is invited to join the live broadcast. The live taping is scheduled for Monday, July 13 at 1 p.m. at the studios of WACA TV 200 Butterfield Drive in Ashland.
