5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: July 16

Free yoga class, have an ice cream and help the Framingham Library, blueberries at the Framingham Farmers' Market, and mosquito spraying.

1. Starting today, and continuing through next week, a detour will be in place on Kendall Lane off of Kendall Avenue near the Natick town line. Traffic will be detoured onto Stillman Street and back onto Kendall Lane past the work zone.

2. The Framingham Farmers’ Market will be open today from noon to 5:30 p.m. at the Framingham Centre Common. Blueberries are in season now. Stop by Hanson’s Farm tent and pick up some. My favorite tip is to ask the When Life Give Your Lemon vendor to put fresh blueberries in your freshly-squezed lemonade.

3. The Framingham History Center kicks off its Summertime on the Common: Free Thursday Family Programs today with Yoga For Kids With Katie at 10:30 a.m. They are offering a 45-minute class for children ages 3-6 with their family, at Edgell Memorial Library. Snacks provided. Some mats available, but feel free to bring your own.
