AAA: Gas Prices Increase By A Penny

Prices are 9 cents higher than a month ago, but 92 cents cheaper than a year ago, according to AAA Northeast.

Gasoline prices in Massachusetts are up one cent from last week, according to AAA Northeast, which has an office in Framingham on Route 9.

AAA’s July 6 survey of prices in Massachusetts found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.75 per gallon, up one cent from last week.

Prices locally are nine cents higher than a month ago.

The current price is one cent less than the national average for self serve unleaded of $2.76.

A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was 92 cents higher at $3.67.

The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 45 cents, from a low of $2.54 to a high of $2.99.
