Brazilian Consulate To Visit Framingham

Community is invited to meet with Glivânia Maria de Oliveira, the Consulate General of Brazil on July 15 from noon to 2 p.m.

Framingham Selectmen, Town Manager Bob Halpin, and state & local leaders will welcome Glivânia Maria de Oliveira, the Consulate General of Brazil to Framingham on Wednesday, July 15.

“Framingham is a culturally diverse community with a large Brazilian population. We are proud to welcome Glivania Maria Oliveria, Consulate General of Brazil to Framingham and to meet members of our community” said Halpin.

The Consulate General will meet with community leaders, members of the press, and distinguished guests from 11 a.m. to noon.

The community is invited to attend an open house with the Consulate General, state and local leaders from 12:00 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Blumer Room of the Memorial Building, where WSRO/Rede ABr will be broadcasting live.

The Consulate General of Brazil’s jurisdiction includes Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

The office provides services to members of the Brazilian community by assisting in obtaining visas, authentication of documents, and customs clearance.
