EDITOR'S PICKS: 5 Things To Do Today in Framingham July 11
Final day of the rotary carnival and there is a ride special today! Manga and Japanese dance workshops at the Framingham Library.

The Carnival will be open today from 1 to 10 p.n. There is also a ride special from 1 to 5 p.m. for $20 ride all the rides you want. Carnival is located at the Framingham State University parking lot at the corner of Salem End and Maynard roads. Click here for more details. There is no admission charge, but tickets required for the rides. Food is an additional cost. Event parking is available at the University parking lot on Maple Street. Shuttle buses will provide transportation to and from the carnival. There is no charge for the parking and shuttle bus.

2. JAPANESE CULTURE:The main Framingham Library is hosting a Manga workshop from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and the Japanese Dance Lesson from 2:45 to 4:45 p.m. Manga is the term for Japanese comics. The workshop will teach attendees hos to draw manga characters. Both workshops are free. Japanese snacks and beverages will be served.
3. COOL OFF AT THE BEACH: Framingham’s trio of public beaches will be open today from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Beach tags are required for use. They can be purchased on site at Lake Waushakum, Learneds Pond, and Saxonville Bach.

4. EXPLORE ART: Visit the Greenhouse Graphics Exhibit at Amazing Things Arts Center in downtown Framingham. The exhibit is open today from noon to 8 p.m. This is the last week of the exhibit.
5. TREK THROUGH NATURE: Garden in the Woods in Framingham is open today from 9 to 5 p.m.
