Framingham Town Hall Open Late Tuesdays, Closing Early Fridays

Starting this week, Framingham Town Hall will be open late on Tuesdays but will close early on Fridays.

These new summer hours for the Memorial Building and the Community Health Programs at Fuller Middle School were approved by Framingham Selectmen last week.

Framingham Town Manager Bob Halpin proposed the summer hours.

Originally Halpin proposed keeping the Memorial Building open on Tuesdays until 6:30 p.m. and closing early on Frodays at 1:30 p.m., but Selectmen Michael Bower and Chery Tully Stoll suggested keeping Town Hall open later on Tuesdays to accommodate those who may work out of town.

Starting Tuesday, July 14, the Memorial Building will be open until 7 p.m. for business on Tuesdays only.

Starting, Friday, July 17, The Memorial Building will close at 1 p.m. on Fridays through Aug. 28.

The Treasurers Office and the Assessor’s Office will move their extended evening hours from Thursday to Tuesday evenings permanently.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays The Memorial Building will be open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
