Funeral Saturday For Sandra (Gove) Estey, 76

Sandra “Sandy” L. (Gove) Estey, 76, a longtime resident of Framingham, died Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Countryside Nursing Home, Framingham.

She was the devoted wife of the late Richard “Dick” D. Estey for 55 years before his death in 2012.

Born in Framingham on November 2, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Paul B. and Lorraine (Oliver) Gove.

Mrs. Estey was a graduate of Framingham High School class of 1956.

She was a lifelong member of Grace Congregational Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir.

As a Deaconess she would visit shut-ins and was also a member of “Circle 13”.

She enjoyed reading, bowling and sewing.

Estey is survived by her two sons, Dana S. Estey and his wife Maureen of Blackstone and Dale S. Estey and his significant other Nancy Parker of Framingham. She also leaves many loving nieces and nephews.

She was the sister to the late Paul B. Gove, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Saturday, July 11, from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by a funeral Service at 10 AM at Norton Funeral Home in Framingham.

Burial will follow at Edgell Grove Cemetery, Framingham.
