"I have come to realize that he is very straightforward, and you get what you see. "

My husband and I have lived in Framingham for over 50 years. I first met John [Stefanini] when he coached my sons in lacrosse at the High School. I have followed his career for a long time. He has always come across as honest and trustworthy. I have come to realize that he is very straightforward, and you get what you see. When he was elected to the Board of Selectman in the 90s, I watched him follow through with what he said and then do more.
John can get things done because he is strategic. He already knows the ins and outs of how things are done here and at the State House. During the past few months, he has taken the time to meet and and listen to all of the community leaders in Framingham. On day one John won’t have to start establishing those connections. John is capable of creating solutions that benefit everyone because he is familiar with everyone’s position.

John realizes we need to work with everyone including our corporations, so Framingham can maintain our vulnerable tax base and pull from the resources we already have. I really liked his proposal to get the corporations in Framingham helping our schools through after school programming. His capacity to understand the network of Framingham will be what allows him to connect with community groups and residents from both north and south Framingham. I am supporting John because this election will determine what direction Framingham will go in the future, I believe John’s insight into Framingham’s network will help Framingham reach its highest potential.
I am retired now and am enjoying time with my husband. I have time to spend with my grandchildren or gardening around the yard.
