Memorial Service Wednesday For Joan G. Fontaine, 55

Joan G. Fontaine, 55, of Ashland passed away Tuesday July 7, 2015, at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Laura (Hanscom) Hoseason.

She was the wife of John Fontaine for 35 years.

A resident of Ashland, she worked as a child care provider for Focus on Fitness in Framingham and Ashland.

A loving wife and mother, she dedicated her life to the betterment of others.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children; Christopher Fontaine of East Haven, CT; and Corey and Brittany Fontaine, both of Ashland; seven siblings; Diane Todino of FL, Nancy Mongeon of NH; Susan Krikstone of CT; Peter Hoseason of Bolton, MA; Robert Hoseason of Woonsocket, RI; Ann Donovan of Townsend, MA; and Carol Hallowell of Nashua, NH; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late David Hoseason.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday July 15 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. prior to the service.
