Middlesex Sheriff to Appear on Ashland Political Show Monday

The focus of the cable television show will be on heroin and the opiate problem in MetroWest.

Middlesex Sheriff Peter Koutoujian will join the cast of All Politics is Local to record a live broadcast on the subject of the heroin and opiate problems effecting the MetroWest area.

The Sheriff will update the public on the impacts on the community and how his office is fighting this growing problem.

The public is invited to join the live broadcast. The live taping is scheduled for Monday, July 13 at 1 p.m. at the studios of WACA TV 200 Butterfield Drive in Ashland.

The Middlesex Sheriff’s office is the law enforcement agency which serves 54 cites and towns in Middlesex county. The office of Sheriff was established in 1692 which makes it one of the oldest law enforcement agencies in the United States. Sheriff Koutoujian has held the position since 2011.

All Politics is Local had been produced by WACA TV over the last 6 plus years. The program discuses how local political and social issues impact the local, state and federal levels. The program is broadcast on the Verizon, Charter and Comcast cable systems through out the MetroWest area.

The Host and moderator of All Politics is Local is Jon Fetherston, a former Ashland Selectman and a former candidate for state representative in Ashland and Framingham.
