1. Framingham to Host Second Bay State Motor Festival in June (wror.com) — Framingham residents can look forward to hundreds of classic and vintage cars rolling into Cushing Memorial Park on Sunday, June 21, for the second Bay State Motor Festival. The free event, run with the City of Framingham and Framingham History Center, will showcase over 200 vehicles, celebrate the city’s GM plant legacy, and feature food trucks, vendors, and a special display of New England–built automobiles.
   

2. MetroWest MA has seen uptick in return-to-office policies. Here's why (metrowestdailynews.com) — Framingham is emerging as a sweet spot for companies bringing workers back to the office, with renovated buildings on Speen Street drawing tenants with modern amenities and relatively affordable rents. Local firms like TJX and Calare are investing heavily in upgrades, betting that hybrid work will keep demand strong for well-located, commuter-friendly office space in Framingham and neighboring Natick.
   

3. High school boys soccer all-stars for 2025 in action this season (metrowestdailynews.com) — Framingham High boys soccer standouts, including senior Kenny Correa and junior Joao Taveira, are highlighted among the region’s 2025 all-stars, with photos from big wins at Fuller Middle School. The gallery also showcases Natick, Hopedale, Holliston, Ashland, and other MetroWest players in state tournament and all-star action.
   

4. Saint Vincent names interim CEO (wbjournal.com subscription) — Leadership of MetroWest Medical Center, which serves Framingham and Natick, is shifting as Tenet Healthcare lists Adam Bracks as interim CEO for both the local system and Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Bracks, a veteran hospital executive from several other states, replaces Denen Park, whose departure follows a period of executive turnover and labor tensions at Saint Vincent. Local patients and staff may see changes as Tenet reshapes its Massachusetts leadership.
   

5. Rep. Lewis Backs Legislation Removing Outdated and Offensive Language from Laws (patch.com) — Framingham’s state Rep. Jack Patrick Lewis helped pass a Massachusetts House bill to strip outdated and offensive terms for people with disabilities from state laws. The measure, approved in November, replaces stigmatizing words with people-first language, which Lewis says better reflects the dignity and respect residents with disabilities deserve.
