Framingham to Host Second Bay State Motor Festival in June (wror.com) — Framingham residents can look forward to hundreds of classic and vintage cars rolling into Cushing Memorial Park on Sunday, June 21, for the second Bay State Motor Festival. The free event, run with the City of Framingham and Framingham History Center, will showcase over 200 vehicles, celebrate the city’s GM plant legacy, and feature food trucks, vendors, and a special display of New England–built automobiles.

5. Rep. Lewis Backs Legislation Removing Outdated and Offensive Language from Laws (patch.com) — Framingham’s state Rep. Jack Patrick Lewis helped pass a Massachusetts House bill to strip outdated and offensive terms for people with disabilities from state laws. The measure, approved in November, replaces stigmatizing words with people-first language, which Lewis says better reflects the dignity and respect residents with disabilities deserve.
