Special Town Meetings Tackle Financials, Property and Pot: Framingham Politics
Three Special Town Meetings are being held this week.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—This week, the town - soon to be a city - Town Meeting members vote on a number of warrant articles in a series of Special Town Meetings.
Both Fall Special Town Meetings take place on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 7:30 p.m. at Nevins Hall, Memorial Building. Special Town Meeting 1 has 15 warrant articles, including those regarding appropriation of mitigation funds, Wayside Conservation Restriction, Old Connecticut Path Easements, Green Communities Funding and the commemoration of 317 years as a town.
Special Town Meeting 2 includes three warrant articles regarding the purchase of the Jonathan Maynard Building.

Special Town Meeting 3, taking place on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 7:30 p.m. also at Nevins Hall, focuses on warrant articles related to taxing recreational marijuana.
