Turns out, it is the hashtag campaign created by the Boston Red Sox trying to persuade and remind fans to vote for Xander Bogaerts to get the shortstop named to the 2015 American League All-Star team.
There are two ways to vote for Bogaerts: Text A1 to 89269 or go to RedSox.com/vote. Voting ends Friday afternoon. Fans can also show their support for Xander by downloading one of these buttons.
The Boston Red Sox were joined by state highway officials this week, and motorists in Boston may see one of these MassDOT highway signs on Friday:
